Each time I enter Chon Som, I feel welcome. This place has a quality that is very warm. They never seem annoyed during the evenings when I work from there (have to love great food along with a wifi connection). The food is exceptional and all the servers have taken the time to learn who I am and my tastes. I strongly recommend this to anyone who is looking for a nice place to hang out, filled with good people.

My kids are treated like customers also. Most places just ignore the kids and only pay attention to the adults. The kids feel really special whenever we go there. I am also never rushed to leave. I can take my time and enjoy my dinner without having to rush through it.

Terrific Thai for lunch... then swing by for some of Nat's sushi for dinner makes for a great day. Dynamite Shrimp with a NY Bagel roll and a glass of wine is absolutely perfect.

Throw that in with the great atmosphere, and top it off with having Apple at the bar to chat it up with if you're just hangin around and you have the best new restaurant in town.

I just wanted to tell you that lunch was really great. The sushi was very fresh, and I really liked that salad with the hot peanut dressing (it went really well with the sushi). Tell Nat and Alissa! The decorating looked super too. It's kind of far for lunch, but I'm sure me and Adnan will make the effort.

I've been to Chon Som twice now, in 8 days, and it is an awesome place to be.

I tried sushi for the first time, and had to go back to try some different things.

I've tried the Hamachi, Dragon roll, Dynamite Shrimp, miso, and Hotate Gai, and they've all been very wonderful, with each having their own individual explosions of taste, texture, and contrasts.

There is an obvious sense of pride and love that goes into the whole restaurant.

I'm amazed at how rejuvenating and calming it feels to walk in, and how amazed at how that feeling transforms into a sense of warmth and satisfaction, as you eat.

I'd recommend this place to anybody that is looking for a fresh, and friendly, eating experience.

This is not a review but a comment to lovely Alisa: congratulations on the restaurant! This is Kevin in Arizona. I talked to Amy tonight and she gave me your web site address. Looks like the place is a success! All the best,
Kevin
